What we do matters to us
From the women in the community fields to the young girls in the run-cutter training room to the men and women in our literacy centers or at the bakery and soap factory, every action or activity we do at SOHUCO- Center Mama Asome is close to the heart of each member of our large family. We are very proud of the dynamism, the determination, the professionalism that each person brings to the work at SOHUCO.
Our programs are well adjusted to meet local needs in terms of demand for services and products, but also the aspirations of our learners.

Here are our programs:

01
Cutter-Sewing
In-depth training in tailoring and fashion design.
With skilled trainers and rigorous discipline in learning, our products are the pride of couture wherever their brilliant destiny takes them.
02
Community Farming
We mobilize the peasant masses around community agriculture and solidarity in order to meet the needs of the fight against malnutrition and household poverty.

03
Rotating Credits
We cannot talk about the African economy without mentioning the role of women. Women are at the heart of the socio-economy which maintains the stability of households and helps them meet vital needs such as education, health, food and savings. Without women's struggle, many children would never go to school or have access to primary health care.
04
Soap and Bakery
Women's entrepreneurship contributes enormously to the growth of women's financial independence and empowers them in actions that have an impact in their households. Women's financial dependence does not allow them to realize their potential when it is needed or when they need it most.

EP & Lweenge Institute
The education of vulnerable children including orphans, internally displaced persons and the destitute is a high priority for our organization. We focus our efforts on access to education as an inalienable right recognized to every human being. SOHUCO-Centre Mama Asome has created a primary and secondary school to meet this need.

For SOHUCO-Centre Mama Asome , education is a right and not a luxury.
